Judy has exhibited and won numerous awards in juried shows in Northern Virginia and Beckley, West Virginia and has studied under many local and nationally known artists. She paints primarily in oil, her paintings conveying a sense of drama created by the play of light against dark. Her work is representational; however, Judy infuses the canvas with movement, mood and color, changing a static landscape or still life into one that invites the viewer in. Her works are held by private and corporate collectors. Judy is a member of the Arlington Artists Alliance in Arlington, VA and a Board member of the McLean Art Society in McLean, VA. Her studio is in Falls Church, VA.
